How often do you update your shop?

I usually release about 30-40 pieces per update.
Most pieces sell out VERY FAST (within the first 10-20 minutes of the drop) because each one of my pieces is one of a kind.

Items will be marked as "Sold Out" until official release time.
Once they are sold they will be removed from my shop.

Do you do custom orders?

 I only take a few custom orders per month, custom orders are released along with my monthly shop updates! 

Custom orders cost $270
(this includes free US shipping, International is +$25) 


You may choose from: Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance and DS Lite ONLY. 
One figurine (character) is included, if you want more than one there will be a price adjustment depending on the price of the figurine. 
Please keep in mind I may not be able to get a figurine of the character you want so please have a back up character in mind. I will do the research and give you figure options to choose from unless you have a particular one in mind! 
You will be able to choose the color palette (Gameboy/DS shell and flowers) and the decorations like mushrooms and crystals. If you have specific types of flowers or decoration in mind, or you want an accessory or clothing piece added to your figure I may be able to accommodate. I can even make a Holiday or season themed piece! 
If you have a theme or color pallet for the piece it would really help me out, giving me creative freedom is a nice idea but I want to make this piece specially for you with colors and things you like! :)

Why are custom orders more expensive?

Because they are made just for you, and take longer.
There is a lot of time that goes into communicating with the customer, finding figures, screen options and special ordering things. I usually buy my materials in bulk so buying just one figure or shell can be a lot more expensive for me as well. 
Custom Orders take 4-8 weeks to complete!!! All correspondence for the custom orders will be done through email or Instagram if you prefer. I will email you within 2-3 days of purchase to start the planning. 

 Can I pre-order or reserve a piece ahead of time?

 No. All shop updates are first come first serve!

How much do your pieces cost?

 Do you make more than one of each piece?

 All of my Gameboy and DS terrariums are one of a kind, I will sometimes make variations of the same piece but no two are ever the exact same.

How can I see what pieces will be available in your next shop update?

 I will announce on social media what pieces will be available, I put the date under each post on Instagram and in my Bio.
I also post a shop preview about a week before each shop update, these pieces will be marked as "sold out" but you'll see the date and time they will be posted if you click on the listing.

 Are they made with real GameBoys?

 Most of what I use are newly made replacement shells.

I also work with some recycled shells that come from a friend (@HandheldMedic) who mods Gameboys and DS! These old devices get new shells so I use the old shells that would normally be discarded!

Are the plants real?

 The plants are artificial and the moss is preserved, so the planters require little to no maintenance. Everything inside the Gameboy is strongly glued together. However in the rare event that the items are delivered to you loosely, please get in touch.

Are the figurines handmade?

 No, the figures use for my pieces are mostly sourced from Japan. I use new and used figures from reliable brands like Bandai and Tomy. I get asked a lot where I get my figures from, I buy from so many different shops and independent sellers that the best advice I can give is to do your own research on google.

How long does it take to make your pieces?

 It anywhere from 4-6 hours to make each piece. each one is made with a lot of care and attention to small details.

Where do you get your supplies and figures?

 I don't feel super comfortable giving this information out to people. I buy from TONS of different suppliers and wholesalers, and it changes constantly. So my best recommendation is just try some google searches. I promise you'll find stuff you just gotta look.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES/CANCELLATIONS

 I will return or exchange items if they are damaged with proof.

Orders are processed within 1-2 days of payment, therefore cancellations are only accepted if I have not begun prepping the order.

If there are claims of damages or defective products I require evidence by pictures but in most cases I can give a partial refund and items can be fixed at home with hot glue or super glue. I also offer free repairs on all items at the shipping expense of the buyer.

 SHIPPING

 Shipping is not included with the item price unless specified. 
I use USPS to ship my products. US shipping prices for GameBoy/DS Gardens typically range from $5-$10 
International $20-$40.

Please allow 3-5 days for processing on all orders. 

Do you ship Internationally?

 Yes, I do ship the Gameboy/DS Terrariums Internationally! I currently use United States Postal Service for international shipping. The price of shipping will be calculated at checkout.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Please check with your countries customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

Sustainability?

 I really care about the environment, and I try to keep my business as green as possible. I use 100% biodegradable bubble wrap and recycled boxes for packing.
